About the Program
IRO has an important role as an educator to its stakeholders. The IRO education program addresses system-wide concerns, issues and emerging trends and provides an industry-wide opportunity to network and learn about the workers’ compensation system.
The IRO Sydney Seminar
The largest event is the Sydney Seminar. Its content is of interest to all compensation system participants and stakeholders and provides an invaluable networking opportunity. The 2020 event attracted over 940 registrations.
Regional Seminars
Seminars are organised throughout regional NSW for the convenience of the scheme’s regional stakeholders. They are a shorter version of the Sydney Seminar.
Approved Lawyer and Paralegal Training Course
The IRO paralegal courses provide practice skills, training, and advice for law practice paralegals and support staff in how to apply for grants of funding and how to work with the ILARS team to achieve optimum results for their clients.
