The Independent Review Office (IRO) is hosting our Annual Sydney Seminar on Wednesday 14 June 2023 between 10am and 3pm at Aerial UTS Function Centre in Ultimo, Sydney. Feedback from our most recent Sydney Seminar included a recommendation that we ask practitioners and others working in personal injury to present to their colleagues at the Seminar.- - We are acting on this feedback by calling for expressions of interest in presenting a paper at the IRO Sydney Seminar. Registrations filling up for IRO Sydney Seminar
Registrations are filling up fast for in-person attendance at the Independent Review Office (IRO) Sydney Seminar to be held on June 15. Register now to confirm your place.
The seminar, A Focus on Psychological Injuries and COVID-19, to be held at Aerial UTS Function Centre in Ultimo from 9.30am-3pm, will also be live streamed and recorded and made available on the IRO website following the event - so if you can-t secure an in-person registration you will still be able to participate.

Two trends that stand out in statutory personal injury claims in 2022 have been the increase in psychological injury claims and the impact of COVID-19.

The Independent Review Office (IRO) will again run a series of Regional Seminars in May 2022. Planned Seminars in February this year, and also previously in 2020/21, were cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions; now that these restrictions are being lifted across New South Wales, the IRO team is visiting north, south and west regional centres.
